A long time ago, I read a story that was short and sweet - so short that I don't mind retelling it here and so sweet that my mind keeps wandering back to it. This is how it goes:
A taxi pulled over and an old lady got in. She had been blind since birth.
At certain point, the driver asked what was the one thing that she would like to see most. To the driver's surprise, the lady answered: "Clouds."
The driver asked:“Oh? May I know why?‘
"I asked a thousand people, and I got a thousand different answers." The lady said.
"And unlike most things, you can't touch it." she continued.
The driver thought for a moment and told the old lady: "Clouds are like God's sketches."
"Thank you! That's the best answer I have ever heard."
Both of them beamed.
Isn't it short and sweet? Now you have my permission to pass it on.
Happy Thanksgiving, my friend!
云之彼端,约定的地方。 On the other side of the clouds, we will meet.
